Network Transactions
Network transactions are transactions either by customers purchasing tickets online or transactions by authorized resellers from e.g. a ticket booth.
Authorized resellers using the Network Transactions menu can select tickets from a seating chart, take payments and (optionally) print tickets. Resellers would normally be granted Username /Password access only to the Network Transactions menu item. Resellers would be required to install the ticketing software on their computer and have internet access.
Access to specific menu items for resellers is set in Maintenance >User Maintenance > User Actions.
Customers purchasing tickets via resellers can be given the option of:
- collecting printed tickets immediately
- having the tickets mailed
- collecting the tickets at the venue/box office by presenting the credit card used to purchase the tickets (or they can nominate an alternative credit card number to be used to validate ticket collection).
Functions of Network Transactions:
- Network Ticket Sales Sell and issue single tickets paid by credit card
- Network Season Ticket Sales Sell and issue season tickets paid by credit card
- Refund Issue refunds on tickets purchased online where "exchange voucher" has been selected as the delivery method
- Network Transaction History Transaction history of network sales, voucher sales and voucher refunds
